Tahini Chocolate Nice Cream

I’ve seen tons of recipes on dairy free ice cream but this is the first time I’ve given it a shot and I’m totally hooked. I ate frozen yogurt the other day and felt an instant bloat and I quickly remembered that I had bookmarked some dairy free ice cream recipes. Of course I went for a chocolate flavour here, but you can change up the mix-ins if you’ve got a different flavour profile in mind!

Makes 2 servings.⁣

What you'll need:

•2 large bananas (frozen and sliced)⁣

•2 tbsp tahini⁣

•3 tbsp cacao⁣

•1 tbsp maple syrup⁣

•2 pitted dates⁣

•1 tsp vanilla extract⁣

•Pinch of sea salt⁣


What you'll need to do:


1. Place frozen bananas in a high speed blender or food processor and blend until there are no solid banana pieces left.⁣

2. Add in the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.⁣

3. Enjoy immediately as soft serve or scoop into a container and freeze for 2 hours until frozen solid.⁣ Use an ice cream scoop to scoop into bowls.

If this doesn’t scream summer, I don’t know what does!
