I went to the grocery store the other day looking for a low sugar hot chocolate mix and I couldn’t find a single one with less than 20g of sugar per serving. I came home and immediately created a healthy hot cocoa that is dairy-free and low sugar that satisfies any sweet craving. You can enjoy this treat all winter long!
What you'll need:
•1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
•1 cup unsweetened almond milk
•1 tsp pure maple syrup (or Stevia drops)
•Dollop of coconut whip cream
What you'll need to do:
1. In a small saucepan, heat the almond milk and maple syrup.
2. Once warmed, add in the cocoa powder and whisk until combined and a bit frothy.
3. Transfer to your favourite mug, top with coconut whip and dust with extra cocoa powder.
